Childbirth Classes: a 4 session path to an informed and confident birth experience

Congratulations on your pregnancy! Pregnancy can sometimes be a time filled with anxiety and worry, as well as, wonder and excitement. The information contained in this class will help pave the way for a more satisfying, fully informed birth and parenting journey. This 4 session course will incorporate a mixture of lecture, video, and hands-on practice that is rooted in my many years of study in this area.

• The basics of labor, including anatomy
• The stages of labor
• Comfort management techniques
• Getting out of your head and into your body
• What you can expect during birth
• How to overcome roadblocks that may become present
• Preparing for Postpartum
• Feeding and caring for baby

Virtual Childbirth Education Classes

My childbirth classes are taught via Zoom. I incorporate a mixture of lecture, video, and instructions for hands-on practice for you and your partner. My classes are deeply rooted in my many years of study and practice in birth and postpartum support. I am in love with the symphony of physiology that occurs in the body as a baby is being born. I strive to empower the families I serve with the knowledge and information they need to make informed and confident decisions about the birth of their baby.

In my class you will learn the basics of labor, including anatomy, the stages of labor and various pain/sensation management techniques. I’ll guide you on a journey of what you can expect during birth and how to overcome roadblocks that may become present. This class can be catered to your specific learning needs and I’m open to building a curriculum that speaks to your family’s needs.

Cost: $250/family.

Next session begins Saturday, January 9,2021 and meets every Saturday from 1-3pm ET.
